We were wandering the web looking for evidence of genius, and we came across Pugcasso. Now we firmly believe art to be an important element of culture, and pug art that of pug culture. Well, Iggy does, Bella percieves art to be more along the lines of something one does with regurgitated plushie stuffing. Pugcasso sells original one of a kind works on ebay, many of which feature that which is the greatest of muses, pugs. His art well worth a browse. We had a very sunny day today after many days of rain, and finally got a proper walk with Mama, since Bella does not like to walk in the rain, and neither does Mama, and Daddy still has a hurt paw and walks with sticks. We’ve been playing lots of games inside though, and we’ve been told something new will happen later this week. Mama and Daddy are going to have as walked by a professional dog walker! We’ve never done that, but since Daddy’s paw has been hurt and he is our primary walker, and Mama can’t walk very long, we get a special walker for a bit, we will let you know how it goes. Daddy says he should be able to walk next week, so it will only be temporary. Walks are very important, and pugs are very important, I am sure there are many of these professional pug walkers eager to meet us. What I don’t understand is that Mama and Daddy were talking about having to ‘pay’ them, shouldn’t the pug walkers be paying Mama and Daddy? This does not seem quite right, but people often have things very confused. We are tolerant.

Happy Chinese New Years! It’s the year of the pug! Okay, well technically the year of the dog, we’re generous. Today is the first day of the Chinese new year.

The day before yesterday our people went away for half the day and when they came back Daddy was hopping on one foot with big sticks under his arms. His leg was painted pink and smelled very funny and was puffy. Instead of taking us for a walk, like he was supposed to, he went to bed and slept! Later Mama walked us! Usually Daddy is the one walking us, Mama has been taking us out for all our potty breaks, and Daddy has rarely gotten up and when he does, he hops on one leg, we’re pretty sure he has a very sore foot. Mama says he has had ankle surgery and she will be walking us for a while. She doesn’t take us on quite as many walks and not as long walks, but she does let us stop and sniff as long as we like where ever we like! When Daddy walks us it’s usually less stops and we can’t linger too long. Both are nice in their own way, but we do miss our walks with Daddy. The bonus is the couch bed is in the bed position! we have a big bed all day and night! and on the first night home Daddy slept downstairs in the couch bed with us!! and we cuddle with him all day!!! yay!
Look! If you don’t have a pug, you can simulate one of our greatest talents, the fine art of farting has been perfected by pugs! Why this is often under appreciated we do not know, also we feel the artist has been remiss in not including the pug breed in this musical masterpiece. Enjoy!
