About
We, Iggy and Bella, have decided that it is time for us to add our voices to the blog world and present our little puggy faces to the world in a venue that is our domain.
Both of us are bugs - pugXboston terriers, though we think of ourselves as generically puggy dogs. I, Iggy, am half and half, my mother a fawn pug, and my father a brindle boston. My little sister (not through birth) is 3/4 pug and a 1/4 boston. Her mother a black pugXboston, or shall we say ‘bug’ and father a fawn pug. I’ll list our stats bellow.
Iggy:

Full Name: Saint Ignatius - Commonly introduced as:Iggy
Nick Names:Iggy Piggy, The Pig, huffer stuffer, the piginator, Pigmiester, Pig boy, grumper stumper, and occasional other indignities
Born: Oct 10 2001 - Age: You do the math - Astrological sign: Libra
Weight: Um, NONE of your business. I don’t care what the vet says, I’m solid muscle!
Height: Bigger than Bella! hah!
Colour: The best, brindle.
Likes: long walks, swimming, beef chews, cookies, SQUEAKY BALL!, SQUEAKY BALL!, other balls will do though, fetching, fetching, and more fetching, stuffies - particularly long limbed floppy monkies, chasing my tail, howling to unusual noises, playing tug, snow.
Dislikes: walking on metal, plastic, or slippery surfaces, alarms, fireworks. My food or water bowl touching or close to anything that -may- be dangerous, like a wall, or a chair, or, or, who knows… the world can be a dangerous place and the proper placement of bowls is -critical- I will communicate vocally my distress at a potentially misplaced food or water bowl until my people fix it, as long as it takes. When Bella rushes up steals a chew from me and takes it dashing away into the back of her kennel where I’m afraid to follow and steal it back.
Best Qualities: very loving, cuddly, loyal, obedient, tries to follow the rules, talkative.
Worst Qualities: territorial barking. very bad gas.
Bella:

Full Name: The Princess Isobella - Commonly introduced as: Bella
Nick Names: Lola, bella bella bunny, little snorker, Lula Belle.
Born: July 8 2004 - Age: you do the math! - Astrological sign: Cancer
Weight: 14lbs
Height: I don’t need to be tall, I’m dainty.
Colour: black, all the better for ninja ambushes on Iggy from around corners!
Likes: long walks, beef chews, cookies, chasing Iggy when he’s chasing a ball, chasing my tail and hind foot, howling to unusual noises, playing tug, stuffies - particularly long limbed floppy monkies.
Dislikes: walking on metal, rain, water, swimming, snow, cold, unusual noises, having something in my territory that is new or moved to an unusual place - freaks me out, when Iggy hoards all the chews and toys in our bed and won’t let me near them!
Best Qualities: sweet disposition, cuddly, able to look cute in any situation.
Worst Qualities: territorial barking, occasional peeing in the hallway, yet another fart machine.
Thats us in a nutshell!
XO
Iggy & Bella

Hello Iggy and Bella.
I Have opened a new pug related website, http://www.pugs.name/.
Do you think it would be possible to get a link from your site to mine? You Pugs surely have thousands of visitors and it would make me really happy if some of them came to my site.
If you want, i can add a link from my page to yours, just let me know. I don’t add links without a permission from the sites owners, i think it’s polite to ask first.

Hello Iggy and Bella,
I am writing from sunny Toronto! I don’t have a weblink for you but certainly love dogs and pugs/bostons at that…..your website is the perfect haven for a pug lover…was wondering if you had any suggestions on finding a Bug breeder? No, I am not necessarily a purist and am looking for some guidance…thought you might be able to help!?
Thanks and lots of bow wows,
JJ

Hi! We are from Hamilton, and I wanted to let you know that we love your dogs!!! My daughter (8 years old) came upon your website when searching pugs. Her scam was to make iggy and bella her desktop to win us over to get a pug…..It worked!!! We just got a “jug” Pug X Jack Russell and we named her Zoey. Her face looks exactly like Bella!!! and her body is tan with black. She is our first dog. Thanks so much for a great website and wanted to let you guys know that your pugs Iggy and Bella were the inspiration and my daughters talk about them like they know them!! We love the pics and Congratulations on your new addition Luna!!

Hi,
I couldn’t find any email around, so I decided to bark
within a comment. I am resident in the Pug Community at www.pugslife.org and I want to invite you to join, too. If you don’t have the time, maybe you can just grab one of our Pugslife badges to put on your website. Thanks.
